Achieving the highest potential score on any standardized test requires commitment and comprehensive preparation. Consistent practice on the student’s part and an investment in the student on the tutor’s part are key factors in improving standardized test scores. An effective test preparation program contains a diagnostic process that enables the student to understand his or her strengths and weaknesses, and a curriculum which reinforces subject matter relevant to the test. As a student’s confidence and familiarity with the test increases, anxiety related to the test typically decreases, and scores often increase.
